译文
漫步在谢桥边，吹拂着落梅的轻风，也吹满双袖。沿岸春寒未褪，犹见残雪痕迹。元宵过后，小草发青芽，春天已经到来。山川间阻，音信难通，只能把一襟幽怨，寄诸燕子，可惜它还未飞回。那远方的情人啊，这时也许在轻烟迷漫的溪水边采摘绿草归来，她一定满怀心事，连花心深处都沁透着她的春愁。
这一切，并不关两人深厚的感情有所改变，而是由于命运的安排。自己纵使有李商隐那样的风流文笔，但在此情此境，也难道出离别苦楚。回首前尘，那幽深的小径，微风吹衣，你，久久地悄立玉阶之下。夜色渐深，清凉的露水侵进罗袜，还在等待我的到来。一切皆成过往，只有那柳树疏疏的长条，依旧纷披在春日和煦的阳光中；晚上，又沾上清凉的露水，在月下来回拂动。
注释
谢桥：即为谢娘桥，泛指站着心爱女子的桥。
灯市：指正月十五的元宵灯市。
绿：是一种刍草的名。
燕台：用唐诗人李商隐事。李曾作《燕台》诗四首，哀感顽艳，被一位叫做柳枝的姑娘所深赏，并相约幽会。由于机缘的错失，两人未能欢好便离别了。
柳发：亦指自己稀疏的头发。
万年欢·春思鉴赏
史达祖在婉约词发展过程中，继承了周邦彦那种“缜密典丽”、“富艳精工”的创作风格，而又有发展，炼字锻句，竟秀争高，给后来重视写作技巧的人比较大影响。
起首两句描写初春的景物：漫步在谢桥边，吹拂着落梅的轻风，也吹满词人的双袖。沿岸春寒未褪，犹见残雪痕迹。“谢桥”，指谢娘家的桥，唐时有名妓谢秋娘，因常以指女子所居之地。两句从欧阳修《蝶恋花》词（一作冯延巳词）“独立小桥风满袖”化出。四、五句点明时节。灯市，指正月十五的元宵灯市，上冠以“匆匆”二字，略露作者的心情，可与姜夔《琵琶仙》词“奈愁里、匆匆换时节”参看。元宵过后，草已开始变绿，春天已是到来了，可是，词人却说“燕子春愁未醒”，燕子在春分前后才由南方飞回，而此时春社未到，燕子未归，故发出“误几处、芳音辽绝”的怨望之语。江淹《拟李都尉从军》诗有“袖中有短书，愿寄双飞燕”之句，《开元天宝遗事》也载有燕子传书之事，诗词家将之当作常典使用。“燕子”二语，与作者《双双燕》词“应自栖香正稳，便忘了天涯芳信”有异曲同工之妙。山川间阻，音信难通，只能把一襟幽怨，寄诸燕子，正见其用笔精妙处。题中“春思”之意，至此方出。“烟溪”二句，笔锋一转，从对面着想：那远方的GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人啊，这时也许在轻烟迷漫的溪水边采摘绿草归来，她一定满怀心事，连花心深处都沁透着她的春愁。“采绿”，出自《诗小雅·采绿》：“终朝采绿，不盈一掏。”旧注认为这是妇人思念远行的丈夫。绿，是一种刍草的名。“采绿”，暗与上文“草根青发”照应。“愁沁花骨”四字甚炼，写出女子怀人的深情，句意并美。
下片“非干厚情易歇”，笔意俱换，词极朴直，却更见情深意厚，更表现作者无可奈何的心情。这一切，并不关两人深厚的感情有所改变，而是由于命运的安排：离别，使有GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人再也不能相见了。“奈燕台句老，难道离别”，这真是痛心彻骨之语。“燕台”，用唐诗人李商隐事。李曾作《燕台》诗四首，哀感顽艳，被一位叫做柳枝的姑娘所深赏，并相约幽会。由于机缘的错失，两人未能欢好便离别了。这里借用而转换加强说，自己纵使有李商隐那样的风流文笔，但在此情此境，一切的语句都显得是那么陈旧和多余。“小径”四句，回首前尘，深情如揭。词人记得当年在故乡多少美好的情事，那幽深的小径，微风吹衣——那是与她旧游之地。在纷来沓至的追忆中，第一难忘的是：她，久久地悄立玉阶之下，夜色渐深，清凉的露水侵进她的罗袜，她还在等待着词人的到来。词中特标出“惊心”二字，表现了GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人相会时心情激荡的情景。“小径吹衣”，又与首句“两袖梅风”相应，今昔对比，更是难以为怀了。结二句“如今但、柳发晞春，夜来和露梳月”，用春景中的景物写愁思，更见梅溪词心思之巧妙。由回忆跌回现实中。一切成为既往，此时剩下的只是：那柳树疏疏的长条，纷披在春日和煦的阳光中；晚上，又沾上清凉的露水，在月下来回拂动。两句表面上是写景，实际上是喻人。“柳发”，亦指自己稀疏的头发：“晞”，晞发，披发使干。《楚辞·九歌·少司命》有“晞女（汝）发兮阳之阿”之语。“夜来”句，写自己在凉露冷月之下，凄然抚鬓的情景。结二句炼字极工，或未免着迹。
史达祖的长调词，着意于布局，字锻句炼，极见功力。虽然前人批评他“用笔多深兴巧”（周济《介存斋论词杂著》），但他对于技巧的细致运用也发展了婉约词。

史达祖1163～1220？年，字邦卿，号梅溪，汴（河南开封）人。一生未中第，早年任过幕僚。韩侂胄当国时，他是最亲信的堂吏，负责撰拟文书。韩败，史牵连受黥刑，死于贫困中。史达祖的词以咏物为长，其中不乏身世之感。他还在宁宗朝北行使金，这一部分的北行词，充满了沉痛的家国之感。今传有《梅溪词》。存词112首。
