译文
离别之后痛苦的相思如沧海一样深而无际，让自己备受煎熬，美好的往事就像天上的云一样，远不可即。想把握住这将别的时刻，流尽了千千万万行的眼泪，也留不住远行的恋人，让我愁肠寸断。
我想与恋人相见却又无法相见，想要结束这段爱情却终究舍弃不了。你我如果是前生没有缘分，那么就等待来生，再结为夫妻。
注释
卜算子：词牌名，又名《百尺楼》、《眉峰碧》、《楚天遥》等。
答施：指答复姓施的情人。
旧事：往事。
如：如同。
泪滴：流眼泪。
因：作“由”的意思。
拚（pàn）：割舍。
了（liǎo）：结束，断绝。
若是：如果是。
重（chóng）：重新。

卜算子·答施创作背景
南宋名妓乐婉与施酒监两人情投意合。施酒监在京任职期满，即将调往他处，却无力给乐婉赎身。施酒监临行前写了一首词送给乐婉，,乐婉读了这首词，心如刀绞。诗人强忍悲痛，写下一首答词《卜算子·答施》向情人作诀别。

卜算子·答施鉴赏
乐婉此词直抒胸臆，明白如话。上片中，“相思似海深，旧事如天远。”临别之前，却从别后的情况说起，起句便奇。“泪滴千千万万行，更使人、愁肠断。”上一句势若江河，一泻而下，下一句一断一续，正如哽咽。诀别的时刻最终还是来临了。女诗人既道尽别后的痛苦，又诉尽临别的伤心，似乎已无可再言。
而下片更是奇外出奇，奇人之又奇。“要见无因见，拼了终难拼。”表现出诗人内心那种要重见，却无法重见，要死心，却又死不了心的纠结心理。而“若是前生未有缘，待重结、来生愿。”表现的是诗人在绝望之中，发一愿，又生出一线希望。而此一线希望，到底是希望还是绝望，令人难以分辨。唯此一大愿，意长留天地。
上下片两结句（赠词下结除外），较通常句式增加了一个字，化五言为六言句，于第三字顿，遂使这个词调一气流转的声情，增添了顿宕波峭之致。全词犹如长江之水，一流而去永不回头，但其意蕴仍觉有馀。以一位风尘女子，而能够得到此段奇情异彩，历来受到人们的喜爱，其奥秘正在于词中道出了古往今来的爱情真谛：生死不渝。这是词中的最高境界。
全词篇幅虽短，但是，一位感情真挚，思想果断的女性形象，活脱脱的跃然于纸上。以泪滴千千万万行之人，以绝不可能断了之情，直道出作者的真挚情感，为之一拼，转念便直说出终是难舍，如此种种念头，皆在情理之中。但在别人则未必能够直接道出自己的感情，而她却能直言不讳，这正是由于作者的性格豪爽果决。至于思旧事如天远，要重见而无因见，待重结、来生愿，若不是感情真挚的人，那是说不出的。
中国古代的仁人志士，小而对于个人爱情，大而对于民族传统，皆抱有一种忠实的态度，即使当其不幸而处于绝望关头，生死难关之时，也能体现出一种生死不渝的精神。唯其此种精神，小而至于个人爱情，才能够心心相印，肝胆相照；大而至于民族文化，才能够绵延不绝，生生不已。两者表面上有大小之别，实际上则具共通之义。乐婉此词虽为言情小令，但其比喻的宗旨则并非一首言情小令所能代替的。
