译文
公主的别墅临跨着青绿的郊野，君主的銮驾常常到这仙宫天阙。
百官们列队迎候着降驾的天子，管弦吹奏着凤凰和鸣般的声乐。
树接南山，南山离东庄这么近，烟漫北渚，北渚离这儿如此远。
承赐盛宴啊，群臣们早成醉颜，恋赏花美的东庄，忘却了回还。
注释
长宁公主：唐中宗李显的女儿，韦后所生。东庄：唐中宗为长宁公主建造的别墅，唐中宗和韦后曾数度临幸。
别业：别墅。青甸：绿色的郊野。甸：京城的近郊。
鸣銮（luán）：装在轭首或车衡上的铜铃，车行摇动作响。此处借指皇帝的车驾。
长筵（yán）：指排成长列的宴饮席位。鹓（yuān）鹭：两种鸟，它们群飞而有序，比喻班行有序的朝官。
南山：指终南山，属秦岭山脉，在今陕西省西安市南。
北渚（zhǔ）：北面的水涯。此指渭河。
承恩：蒙受恩泽。
还镳（biāo）：犹回马。镳：马嚼子，代指乘骑，此处指皇帝的车驾。

侍宴长宁公主东庄应制创作背景
这是一首侍筵诗。唐中宗李显领着大臣们到女儿长宁公主的东庄别墅去吃饭，李峤写了这样一首诗以侍筵。

侍宴长宁公主东庄应制鉴赏
此诗第一句交代宴饮的地点，为下文的展开写出了规定的场景。第二联把大臣们写得不同凡俗，更恰到好处地吹捧了皇帝。第三联突然笔锋一转，由宴会写到了东庄周围的环境。最后归结到宴会上来，收住上文，把宴会的气氛推向了高潮。
全诗用比喻、对比、夸张等多种修辞来介绍长宁公主的别墅，虽然辞藻过于华丽，但是皇家庄严肃穆的一面描绘得很具体，使人对皇帝家那种威严奢华的生活有了一定的了解。作为宰相，李峤写出如此的文章似乎很天经地义，这是政治和文学的结合，李峤既将政治目的融到了诗里，又严格按照五言律诗原有的体裁来编辑词汇。不管读者是否喜欢花团锦簇般的修辞堆在那里，皇家的气派似乎只有用这样的辞藻方能说明。大多数应制诗、侍筵诗都是如此。此诗俗处在于空泛，这也是大多数此类诗词很难跳出的套路。
这首作品是典型的侍筵诗。侍宴写的诗，多歌功颂德的溢美之词，少酸甜苦辣的隽永名言，这样的诗其实流传不广，因为没有什么用，充其量记录一些生活片段，玩一下生涩怪癖的文词，应景显才之为而已。
