满目芊芊野渡头，不知若个解忘忧？
细随绿水侵离馆，远带斜阳过别洲。
金谷园中荒映月，石头城下碧连秋。
咏草鉴赏
这首诗名为咏草，而实非咏草，只是借草抒情，构思奇特，别有风味。
古代诗人多以草写别情，诉离忧，白居易的“萋萋满别情”，就是一个典型。
此诗首联出句似乎是韦应物《滁州西涧》头尾两句的合成：“独怜幽草涧边生”，“野渡无人舟自横”。面对这一境界，诗人提出不知谁懂得忘忧这个奇怪的问题，但似乎没回答，其实不用回答，就是“草”。
颔联和“远芳侵古道，晴翠接荒城”的意思相似，但比白居易这两句写得好，“绿水”和“斜阳”，不但更具体，而且更富鲜明的形象；“随”和“带”这两个动词也比“侵”和“接”好，更富拟人的韵味，更富动感。
颈联逆转，赋予“草”以异样的情味：金谷园中“流水无情草自春”，是否也在“可怜金谷坠楼人”？石头城下“但寒烟衰草凝绿”，是否也是“故国不堪回首月明中”？这里，“草”则有“国破家亡欲何之”的无穷惆怅。草，有着顽强的生命力，它“野火烧不尽，春风吹又生”，而逝去的人，破亡的国，却不能重生再造。
尾联结情。诗人怅望“王孙游兮不归，春草生兮萋萋”，遥想富甲一代的石崇早已“灰飞烟灭”，绝代佳人绿珠早已“花落人亡两不知”，“人生一世，草木一秋”的无穷感慨不由涌上心头。可再往深处想，人还不如草，什么功名利禄，什么荣华富贵，是统统都可以抛弃的。想到这，诗人的心渐渐平静了。
