客舟系缆柳阴旁，湖影侵篷夜气凉。
万顷波光摇月碎，一天风露藕花香。
临平泊舟鉴赏
这首诗描写了诗人夏夜泊舟所见的景色，境界阔大，意境深远。表达了诗人在作客他乡时的那种孤独寂寞，相当敏感，对身边的防范和感应都达到了一个无以复加的地步。
“客舟系缆柳阴旁，湖影侵篷夜气凉”，诗人在一个月光明亮的夜晚在柳阴旁泊舟，只觉得湖光月影映照着船篷，带给人丝丝的凉意。这句写出了诗人在船篷中，却明显感觉到外面的湖影水气带给自己的凉意。后面两句说月光被摇碎，让人心酸不已。对于诗人来说，这月光或者代表着他的理想，或者思念。这让人想到第一句里的“柳”。柳所代表的意象，别离居多，也许诗人正在面对一场别离，这让诗人觉得怅然若失。月亮碎了，只剩下藕花的香味。
夏夜中的凉爽是令人感到舒服的，这时诗人走出船篷来“寻凉”了：“万顷波光摇月碎，一天风露藕花香”，诗人见到的是万顷湖面上水波动荡，摇碎了月影，粼粼的波光清寒侵人。闻到的是阵阵荷花的香气传来；感到的是微风拂面，夜露湿润。短短两句诗写出了三种感觉，相互作用，“月光”、“风露”、“荷香”，都是使人心生凉意的事物，放在一起，营造了一个令人心旷神怕的“清凉世界”。“万顷”、“一天”对仗工整，境界空旷悠远。

黄庚，字星甫，号天台山人，天台（今属浙江）人。出生宋末，早年习举子业。元初“科目不行，始得脱屣场屋，放浪湖海，发平生豪放之气为诗文”。以游幕和教馆为生，曾较长期客越中王英孙（竹所）、任月山家。与宋遗民林景熙、仇远等多有交往，释绍嵩《亚愚江浙纪行集句诗》亦摘录其句。卒年八十馀。晚年曾自编其诗为《月屋漫稿》。事见本集卷首自序及集中有关诗文。 黄庚诗，以原铁琴铜剑楼藏四卷抄本（今藏北京图书馆）为底本。校以影印文渊阁《四库全书》本（简称四库本）。两本卷次不同，文字亦各有错诲空缺，而底本多出校本诗十馀首。
