用法主谓式；作谓语、定语；含褒义。
辨形“然”，不能写作“燃”。
辨析一目了然和“了如指掌”；都有“对情况清楚了解”的意思。但一目了然偏重在表示了解得十分容易；不表示一看就懂的意思；“了如指掌”偏重表示了解得十分透彻。
