直捣黄龙的典故

岳飞向周同学习武艺，周同死后，每月都要为周同扫墓。他的父亲勉励他说：“如有机会为国效力，也应该这样！”宣和四年，岳飞应招入伍，由于骁勇善战，从一个普通士卒渐渐跃升为领袖。岳飞对待部下很宽厚：士卒生病了，他亲自给熬药，战死了负责养活家小，把朝廷给自己的犒赏一律分给士卒。每有军事行动前，都要召集将校商量，商定好了才行动，所以部队突然遇到敌人，也不惊慌。但他的军纪却很严：一次一个士卒拿了老百姓的一条麻绳绑马鞍子，马上被军法处死了。有时部队在路上过夜，老百姓开门要收留他们，没有人敢進去。老百姓把他们称作“岳家军”。

岳家军奋战10余年，收复了大片失地。朱仙镇会战，大破金兀术，金人士气尽丧，宋人锐气高涨，被金国占领的人民也纷纷起来响应，收复中原指日可待。岳飞高兴地对部下说：“直抵黄龙府，与诸君痛饮尔！”（黄龙府，今吉林农安，当时是金国腹地）。
