犀照牛渚的典故
东晋时期，温峤来到牛渚矶，见水深不可测，传说水中有许多水怪。温峤便点燃犀牛角来照看，看见水下灯火通明，水怪奇形怪状，有乘马车的有穿红衣的。温峤晚上梦见一人恶意责怪不该用犀牛角火照。第二天因牙痛拔牙而中风，回到镇上不到十天就死了。
