失之东隅的典故
东汉初年，光武帝刘秀派大将冯异与邓禹去围剿赤眉农民起义军，邓禹与义军交战后不幸损兵折将，冯异命令部队加强防御，收拢溃散的散兵，同时派军装成赤眉军打入其内部，结果大获全胜。朝廷下文书表彰他们的战斗是失之东隅，收之桑榆。
