黄绢幼妇的典故
东汉时，浙江上虞地区有一个14岁的少女，名叫曹娥。因为她的父亲在江里淹死，曹娥投江寻觅父亲的尸体，最后也被淹死了。这件事很快传扬开来，并被加上迷信的色彩。曹娥也因此成为封建社会“孝女”的典型。当时的“上虞长”度尚为曹娥立了纪念碑。这个碑就是后世所传的名碑——《曹娥碑》。
据说碑文是邯郸淳所作，当时，邯郸淳年仅13岁。他当着众人之面，略加思索就将碑文一挥而就，写得相当出色。著名文学家蔡邕路过上虞时，曾特地去看这个碑，可是他到达时已是傍晚时分。在苍茫的暮色中，蔡邕用手抚摸着读完碑文，然后在碑的背面题了八个大字：“黄绢幼妇外孙臼”
