尺二秀才的典故
宋朝时期，诚斋先生杨公参加湖南漕试监考时，他的同事有取《易经》义为魁。诚斋先生看到卷面上把“盡”写成“尽”，就想摈斥更改。考官是上痒人，不允许他改。诚斋先生笑着说：“明日揭榜，将会取得个尺二秀才，我们的脸面往哪里搁？”
