甘棠之爱的典故
周武王时期，大臣召伯奉武王之命巡行南方地区，广施仁政，大大减轻了老百姓的负担，由于政策遭到其他大臣的反对，纷纷攻击与诬陷召伯。召伯为表忠心与清白，死在甘棠树下。召伯死后，民众怀念他，从此不再砍伐甘棠树。
