柳暗花明的典故

陆游是南宋著名的爱国诗人。他的诗抒发了抗金爱国的情怀，一度得到孝宗的赏识，所以入朝当了军器少监。但朝中的投降派百般排挤他，不断上书皇帝，诬陷他终日赏花吟诗，不务正业，皇帝偏听偏信，结果陆游被弃。

陆游怀着满腔的愤怒，回到老家绍兴闲居。一天，陆游前往山西村拜访友人，友人及左邻右舍听说陆游来访，都热情地接待他，家家户户摆酒设宴相迎。那淳朴的民风使陆游十分感动，他诗兴大发，写下诗篇《游山西村》。诗中有这样两句：

山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。

诗句既描绘了大自然的景象，又表达了诗人对未来寄予希望的心境。“柳暗花明”后用来比喻环境的突然转变；也比喻在困难中遇到转机，在错综复杂的情况下找到了解决问题的方法。
