倚门倚闾的典故

齐王的宗族王孙贾，15岁就被召进宫当齐王的侍臣。他母亲很爱他，每当他入朝，总要再三叮嘱他早些回来。如果他回家晚了，母亲就会焦急的倚在门外等他回来。

公元前284年，燕昭王派乐毅讨伐齐国，很快攻下了齐国都城临淄。齐王仓惶逃走，逃到了营城，这天，王孙贾没有在齐王身边，听说齐王出逃，急忙前去追寻，因不见齐王，只得回家。

母亲见了，问：燕兵来了，你为何不保护齐王。王孙贾道：“我不知道大王在什么地方。”

母亲非常生气，说：“你每天回来晚了，我会倚在家门口等。你既然是大王的侍臣，竟然不知道他去哪儿了，那你还回家干什么！”王孙贾听后，很惭愧，马上离家再去打听齐王下落。
