三国时期，曹操派大将钟繇攻蜀未成，退守潼关，就改派曹洪、徐晃驻守潼关，才九天时间曹洪丢了潼关。曹操率军亲自攻打潼关，结果被马超打得大败，为了逃命，曹操割掉自己的胡须，丢掉自己的战袍，化装逃回到自己的大本营。
