绿衣使者的典故
唐玄宗李隆基时期，长安富翁杨崇义养了一只红嘴绿毛鹦鹉，它十分聪明伶俐，很会学人说话。杨崇义被妻子刘氏与李俨通奸合谋杀死，万年县令根据鹦鹉提供的信息破案。唐玄宗封这只鹦鹉为绿衣使者，学者张说特写《绿衣使者传》纪念。
