物不平则鸣的典故
唐朝时期，文学家韩愈的学生孟东野熟读经史，很有才能，直到50岁才做溧阳县蔚，因而常抱怨自己怀才不遇。韩愈十分同情，并在孟赴任时写《送孟东野序》赠别：“大凡物不得其平则鸣，草木之无声，风挠之鸣；水之无声，风荡之鸣。”
